Responsibilities

Design, plan, enforce, and coordinate CM and tool processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with program goals and industry standards
Configuration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version Control, ensuring traceability and accountability for digital product artifacts
Perform and oversee Status Accounting & Configuration Audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
Manage digital product development/media libraries, ensuring secure and efficient storage and retrieval of assets
Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build, and versioning, promoting best practices and consistency across teams
DPCM/SWCM Tool administration / manage all access to tool applications (i.e., Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS), Git, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, ClearCase) and provide user support and training as needed
Facilitate/Participate in the Process Change Boards (PCBs)/Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs)
Maintain familiarity with program schedules, budgets, and risks, proactively identifying opportunities to align work with program priorities and promote reuse and efficiency
Coordinate secure data transfers and provide courier support among various environments, ensuring proper handling and compliance with RTX policies
Lead coordination and execution of various digital product releases, interfacing with functional and program leadership to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to configuration management processes in multi-environment areas
Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to educate team members on CM tools, processes, and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of configuration management processes into the overall program lifecycle
Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in configuration management and DevSecOps, and recommend improvements to existing processes and toolchains
Follow RTX Policies and Directives in accordance with established program documentation and work instructions under the guidance of the DPCM Team Lead and/or Section Leader, while demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) AND a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with version control and change management/agile planning tools
Digital/Software Configuration Management technology, Information Technology (IT), and/or development/scripting experience
Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux Operating Systems
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Advanced knowledge in Digital/Software Configuration Management principles, process, and implementation/execution
Solving complex problems, sharing knowledge, and documenting work
Experience with DPCM/SWCM tools (Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS) - Git, BitBucket, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), and/or IBM Rational ClearCase, Synergy, Jenkins, Artifactory
Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)
Experience with Continuous Improvement, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), GitFlow, and Agile concepts
Database/DPCM/SWCM tool administration experience
Proven experience with configuration management concepts and implementation
Experience with digital/software industry best practices such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI)
Proven collaboration and effective communication with cross functional organizations
