Responsibilities
Establish and lead a new Operations Quality & Performance function
Proactively monitor end-to-end operational and fulfillment performance across a distributed network
Define and track KPIs, SLAs/SLOs, and performance tolerances
Identify variance, failure points, and systemic risks before issues escalate
Serve as the early-warning system for operational breakdowns
Lead incident escalation, root-cause analysis, and recovery efforts
Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and action plans
Partner closely with Operations, Fulfillment, Network teams, and senior leadership
Hire and develop an initial team (2–3 people), with growth over time
Qualification
Required
Experience in operations quality, performance, fulfillment, logistics, or network-based environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience with dashboards, metrics, and performance reporting
Proven ability to detect trends, assess risk, and drive operational improvements
Comfort partnering directly with senior and executive leadership
Builder mindset: able to create frameworks, standards, and cadence from scratch
Preferred
Background in large-scale or high-growth operations (e.g., fulfillment, logistics, marketplaces) strongly preferred
