Responsibilities
Completes work assignments and tasks in cooperation with other facility technicians in a team-oriented environment
Works with the Maintenance Planning department to evaluate needs for all work requests-both scheduled and unscheduled-as well as any special projects that arise
Follows up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, and any other mechanical systems
Assists in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
Reviews and maintains maintenance logs, and completes any and all documentation necessary to the completion of a task
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training. If no educational background, at least 1 year
Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required
Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges
Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred
Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred
Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc
