Responsibilities
Provide global product compliance technical program management and leadership to ensure that all electrical, mechanical, material, and other regulated performance specifications are satisfied in all countries where AWS business exists or will expand
Collaborate with Datacenter Engineering, Product Engineering, Compliance Engineers, Regulatory Analyst, legal, trade strategy, and supply chain to implement compliance specifications and policies
Provide product compliance support during product development
Build compliance programs to support AWS Datacenter Infrastructure, Power Generation Solutions, and Region Service Business, including hardware technology development and deployment and new region planning and launches
Develop compliance specification and plan
Troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues that arise in the course of AWS’s NPI and other business processes
Qualification
Required
3+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
3+ years of experience on leading product compliance projects for complex system and large scale deployment in tech industry or machinery industry
Preferred
3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience in managing product compliance projects and familiar with technical domains in safety, EMC, restricted substance, and/or electrical and fire code compliance
