Responsibilities
Lead the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds for a wide range of U.S. and international sponsors
Guide clients through complex regulatory matters under the Securities Act, Exchange Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act
Represent institutional investors in private fund investments and advise on all aspects of their investment programs
Work closely with partners on strategic advisory matters while mentoring more junior attorneys
Contribute to the ongoing development of a premier fund formation and regulatory practice
Qualification
Required
8+ years of dedicated fund formation and regulatory experience within a national or international law firm
Deep familiarity with advising both fund sponsors and investors
Superior academic credentials and exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
A proactive, polished, and commercially minded approach to client service
Motivation to help shape, strengthen, and grow a high-performing team
