Production Associate

Responsibilities

Operate metal fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, rollers, and cutting machines) to produce roofing components according to specifications
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements to ensure accuracy in production
Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards
Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery to ensure optimal performance
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA guidelines
Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing metal sheets and related materials
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualification

Metal fabrication experienceOperating fabrication machineryMechanical skillsReading blueprintsDetail-oriented

Required

Ability to operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
Strong mechanical skills and understanding of basic measurements and tolerances
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or building supply industry preferred
Technical training in metalwork or fabrication is a plus
