Responsibilities
Provide scientific support for clinical trial design and product development
Analyze and interpret clinical data and conduct structured literature searches to support regulatory submissions
Propose and perform post-hoc / exploratory data analyses to generate necessary scientific insights
Contribute to clinical study protocols, statistical analysis plans, reports, scientific publications, abstracts, conference presentations, and additional documentation as needed
Prepare clinical and scientific training materials for internal teams
Collaborate cross-functionally with medical affairs and marketing to ensure proper communication of scientific insights and results
Attend and contribute to meetings with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and internal and external study stakeholders
Participate in data management activities and data dashboard development to ensure data collection supports high-quality, analyzable outcomes
Support market access teams and product reimbursement efforts through detailed review of data and literature related to product performance and mechanism of action
Stay current on advancements in neurorehabilitation, alternate therapies, ongoing clinical trials, and data science techniques, and on updates to regulatory standards and guidance related to clinical trial design, execution, and submission
Travel up to 10% to attend conferences, meetings, and site visits
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or higher in a relevant medical or scientific field (neurophysiology, biomedical engineering, or related)
Ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally
Demonstrated history of successful peer-reviewed publication and conference presentations
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical data (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, 21 CFR Part 11, GCP)
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding handling of clinical data and integrity of reported results
Comfortable independently executing data analyses in standard programming (e.g.Excel, Matlab, Python) and statistical(e.g.SAS)software
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced start-up environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
Fluent communication in English, both spoken and written
Display interest in working with innovative medical device technologies in an international environment and within the clinical team
Maintain an attitude compliant with the high-quality and regulatory requirements associated with Class III medical devices

Preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting and reporting on scientific research, with at least one year in an industry setting preferred
