Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles upon return from rental and before being rented out again. This includes:
Checking for cleanliness, damage, stains, functionality of electronics (radio, navigation, etc.), and missing items
Examining for dents, scratches, damage to lights, tires, and overall condition
Checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and basic functionality
Documenting all findings accurately and clearly using checklists, forms, and potentially photos
Flagging vehicles needing cleaning, repair, or maintenance
Ensuring vehicles meet the company& standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality
Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle inspection and maintenance
Reporting any damage or mechanical issues to the appropriate department via Damage Report (Fleet Department)
Maintaining accurate records of vehicle inspections and any identified problems
Collaborating with other departments (cleaning, maintenance, customer service) to ensure smooth vehicle flow and customer satisfaction
