Responsibilities
Work a core trading shift from 3pm to midnight CT within a hybrid structure (WFH Sundays, hybrid Monday–Thursday with office presence during Chicago afternoon hours)
Ensure production trading systems are fully operational and support trade externalization, hedging, and portfolio execution during Asian market hours
Deliver real-time insights on execution quality, margin usage, and risk while continuously monitoring and adjusting system controls
Support portfolio oversight, manage broker interactions, and act as trading backup when required
Escalate operational or risk issues to the appropriate trading and risk teams
Contribute to execution research, strategy development, and backtesting during off-market periods
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of experience in options trading and/or risk management, suitable for a junior to intermediate trading level
Working knowledge of Python
Comfortable working non-standard hours aligned with Asian markets
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred
Exposure to Asian equity or derivatives markets
Automated trading systems
Options market structure
Prior experience in fast-paced trading environments
