The Staff Accountant - General Ledger will prepare journal entries, reconcile financial statements, and ensure data accuracy while supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Responsibilities
Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and intercompany entries into the ledger monthly, as well as preparing reports
Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct
Reconciling accounts with the general ledger
Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping
Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting
Participate in the year‐end financial statement audit through effectively responding to specific requests and inquiries from the external audit team
Participate in other strategic finance, accounting, and business projects if needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization
Relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in SAP ERP system and Microsoft Office with demonstrated expertise in Excel
Good attention to detail with excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously in an accurate and on a timely basis
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate
