Business Development Representative
Ignite Talent Group is working with a global B2B software business that delivers enterprise platforms to organizations in regulated environments. The Business Development Representative will drive new revenue by building and qualifying a pipeline for the sales organization, with opportunities for progression into full cycle sales or senior business development roles.
Responsibilities
Proactively identify, engage, and qualify new B2B prospects through outbound activity
Own early stage discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, buying intent, and solution fit
Convert engaged prospects into sales qualified opportunities aligned to defined criteria
Build and maintain a consistent, high quality pipeline to support revenue targets
Work closely with Sales to ensure effective handover of qualified opportunities
Partner with Marketing on campaign follow up, events, and webinar engagement
Conduct account and market research to identify decision makers and tailor outreach
Maintain accurate and disciplined CRM management
Qualification
Required
Experience in business development, outbound sales, or lead qualification is advantageous
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable operating in a target driven, outbound environment
Experience using CRM systems and modern sales tools
Self motivated, resilient, and accountable for outcomes
Preferred
Exposure to B2B software or regulated industries is beneficial but not essential
Degree level education is desirable but not required
