Account Executive, SMB
Mimecast is redefining cybersecurity and leading in human risk management. As an SMB Hybrid Account Executive, you will identify opportunities, close deals, and deliver tailored solutions to SMB accounts while driving revenue growth and retention.

Responsibilities
New Business: Hunt and secure new SMB clients through strategic prospecting and consultative sales
Account Growth: Develop and expand existing accounts with cross-sell and up-sell strategies
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate sales pipelines, deliver precise forecasts, and close deals efficiently
Customer Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor to address customer challenges
Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Customer Success, Solution Engineers) and channel partners to deliver value-driven solutions
Insights & Strategy: Leverage tools like Salesforce and Gong to track performance, refine strategies, and improve customer outcomes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in sales, with expertise in SMB accounts and consultative selling
Strong relationship-building, objection-handling, and entrepreneurial skills
Proficiency with sales tools like Salesforce, Gong, and CRM platforms
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a hybrid model and come on-site to our Lexington, MA office
Preferred
Knowledge of cybersecurity or related industries is a plus
