Responsibilities
Analyzes Commercial and Medicare formularies to determine client eligibility for manufacturer rebate contracts
Gathering documentation
Reviewing contract language and providing feedback
Evaluating new and varied situations dealing with plan design, formulary listing, contract interpretation, and trade negotiation
Conducting ad hoc research to support forecasting and underwriting processes
Investigating manufacturer disputes
Supporting client and manufacturer audits
Collaborating with colleagues and management to resolve issues and improve processes
Adhering to quality control procedures to ensure timely and accurate research results are published monthly for all formularies and drugs
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience with formularies and rebate contracts
Preferred
Formulary and/or rebate knowledge
Contract interpretation experience
Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, drug products, and manufacturer rebate contracts
Advanced understanding of CVS Caremark Benefit Design and Formulary
