Government Banking Relationship Manager
U.S. Bank is on a journey to help customers and businesses make smarter financial decisions. They are seeking a Government Banking Relationship Manager to manage complex government banking relationships, grow revenue through new business prospecting, and provide financial advice to clients.

Responsibilities
Manage complex Government Banking relationships in the state and local government segment with agencies across the state
Grow revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships
Approve loans within assigned limits, manage loan and portfolio credit quality, source prospects and develop new customer relationships
Provide financial advice to customers and sell appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients
Make appropriate referrals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field
Typically 10 or more years of banking experience
Preferred
Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills
Considerable knowledge and experience in managing and growing a large portfolio of government clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skill
