Responsibilities
Secure cloud infrastructure supporting GenAI and AI-driven workloads
Define and enforce Azure security standards, policies, and guardrails
Configure and manage:
Azure AD (Entra ID)
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
Integrate security controls into Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
Leverage Defender for Cloud to identify risks and improve posture
Partner with architecture and infrastructure teams on:
Secure landing zone implementation
Network segmentation and access models
Cost-aware security design
Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (one week every seven weeks)
Qualification
Required
Azure Cloud Security
Securing Azure IaaS and PaaS workloads
Deep understanding of Azure-native security tooling
Identity & Access Management
Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Terraform (preferred) or Bicep
Embedding security controls and compliance in IaC pipelines
Security Tooling & Monitoring
Microsoft Defender for Cloud
Azure Security Center concepts
Log Analytics / Sentinel exposure
DevSecOps
CI/CD security integration
Policy-as-code and automated security enforcement
Secure cloud infrastructure supporting GenAI and AI-driven workloads

Senior-level Azure Security Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer
Strong hands-on Azure experience in enterprise environments
Comfortable operating in regulated healthcare ecosystems
Experience securing early-stage or scaling Azure environments
Confident advisor who can guide non-security teams on best practices
Able to work independently in a highly autonomous, remote model
Preferred
Compliance in regulated environments (HIPAA preferred)
Network security (NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints)
VMware & hybrid cloud security
Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
GenAI / AI workload security exposure
Experience securing data platforms (Key Vault, encryption, secrets management)
