Responsibilities
Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents
Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day field operations
Assist with scheduling, updates, and progress tracking (Primavera P6)
Track quantities, costs, production, and forecasting
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field crews
Support procurement, material deliveries, and equipment needs
Assist with change order pricing, cost control, and monthly billing
Manage submittals, RFIs, permits (including NPDES), SWPPP, and record drawings
Review daily field reports for accuracy and completeness
Support inspections, testing, utility coordination, and compliance requirements
Assist with project closeout activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering & Management preferred)
experience in civil or heavy highway construction
Strong communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Primavera P6
Preferred
FDOT project experience preferred but not required
