The role involves installing structured cabling infrastructure and requires candidates to have experience in pulling, terminating, and testing cables.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Pull, terminate, and test Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables
Install cabling infrastructure: racks, cabinets, patch panels, etc
Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms
Review project documentation, including:
Floor plans and equipment locations
Reflected ceiling plans
Conduit call‑outs
Wall elevations
Signal flow diagrams
Cable pull schedules
Utilize hand and power tools effectively
Work in environments requiring climbing, kneeling, crawling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Qualification
Required
2+ years' experience installing cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc.)
Strong experience pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5/6
Reliable transportation
Must pass a driving check
Must pass a drug test
Strong communication skills and positive attitude
Required PPE on day one: Hard hat with chin strap (no need for expensive models), Safety glasses, Steel-toed boots, Safety vest
Utilize hand and power tools effectively
Work in environments requiring climbing, kneeling, crawling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
