They are seeking a Financial Planning & Performance Support Consultant to support the implementation and ongoing use of their software products, assist clients with data reconciliation, and train users on technical matters related to their solutions.

Responsibilities
Support implementation and on-going use of Empyrean Solutions’ suite of software products for Planning (forecast, strategic plan, and annual budget), organizational and customer profitability, and funds transfer pricing at medium-sized and large financial institutions
Support import and reconciliation of client instrument, general ledger, and payroll data
Modify and create custom reports and dashboards
Train clients on functional and technical matters related to Empyrean’s products
Act as a liaison between the product management team and the user community
Follow all applicable policies and controls
Ensure customer data and sensitive data is transmitted using approved channels
Maintain the integrity of the sensitive customer data in line with policies and controls
Qualification
Required
Degree in finance or related discipline
Interest or experience in banking, financial risk management or financial technology
Strong client relationship management skills
Solid understanding of the banking industry
Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Experience working with large datasets
Strong attention to detail and good planning and organization skills
Knowledge of SQL or similar data querying tools
Knowledge of basic cost allocation processes
Experience with BI solutions such as PowerBI or Tableau
Demonstrated experience supporting planning and profitability processes at a Financial Institution
Preferred
