New Grad, Entry LevelEmerging LA is one of LA's largest startup communities, and they are seeking a Venture Capital Fellow to conduct market and startup research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities. The Fellow will evaluate startups, assist with due diligence, and support event planning and execution while engaging with founders and maintaining connections in the innovation ecosystem.

Conduct market and startup research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities
Evaluate startups and assist with due diligence
Support event planning and execution
Engage with founders and maintain strong connections in the innovation ecosystem
Produce meaningful reports or content that contribute to the overall mission of Emerging LA
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Market Research, Startup Evaluation, and conducting Due Diligence
Strong Communication, Networking, and Relationship-Building skills, particularly with founders and investors
Event Planning and Content Creation capabilities
Analytical and Problem-Solving skills, along with attention to detail
Ability to manage projects independently and adapt to hybrid work setups
A genuine interest in innovation and contributing to LA's entrepreneurial ecosystem
Preferred
Knowledge or experience in venture capital, startup ecosystems, or entrepreneurial environments
