Senior LevelPalo Alto Labs is seeking a highly skilled NetSuite Finance Lead to spearhead the financial workstream for a comprehensive NetSuite ERP implementation. This role involves translating complex business requirements into a scalable NetSuite architecture while ensuring adherence to accounting best practices and robust financial visibility.

Responsibilities
Lead "Business Process Mapping" workshops to define the "To-Be" state for all financial modules, including General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Recognition
Hands-on configuration of the NetSuite financial environment, including the Chart of Accounts (COA), tax engines (SuiteTax or Legacy), and multi-subsidiary structures (OneWorld)
Design and build critical financial outputs, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and custom saved searches/KPIs for executive dashboards
Oversee the mapping and migration of legacy financial data (trial balances, open AP/AR, and historical transactions) into NetSuite, ensuring 100% data integrity
Work with technical teams to ensure third-party integrations (e.g., Bill.com, Expensify, or proprietary banking APIs) sync correctly with the GL
Develop test scripts and lead the finance team through UAT, ensuring all business-critical financial scenarios are validated
Provide end-user training and create documentation tailored to the client’s specific financial workflows
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2–3 full-lifecycle NetSuite implementations, specifically leading the Finance/ERP workstream
Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS
Experience with month-end close processes, consolidations, and multi-currency reporting
Advanced knowledge of NetSuite's financial modules (OneWorld, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), and Multi-Book accounting)
Ability to influence stakeholders and manage expectations at the CFO/Controller level
Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex tax or subsidiary consolidation issues
