Responsibilities

Take the lead and deliver projects of large and/or ambiguous scope
Play a critical role in helping set goals and direction for the team
Solve design problems that few others can, leveraging exceptional product thinking, interaction design, and/or craft – while elevating the work of those around them
Frame discussions to elicit desired feedback, while clearly and articulately representing their work in larger presentations and leadership reviews
Make the broader design organization better by leading initiatives such as interviewing, mentorship/teaching, process improvements, onboarding, design standards
Strengthen culture and identify areas for development within the team, and proactively driving initiatives to make the team’s work stronger

Required

Minimum of 10 years of related work experience
BA/BS or equivalent experience required
Experience shipping high-utility mobile or desktop applications, simplifying complex user flows, or delivering new product innovation that disrupted conventions
Exceptional product thinking, interaction design, and craft skills
Expert understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
Self-motivated problem solving with the ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively, and to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
Hunger for innovation, fluidity with ideas, eagerness to challenge the status quo
Strong interest in and aptitude for leveraging data to inform design, and learning new technologies
Strong work ethic, are a self-starter, adaptable, and inspire those around you
Ability to design solutions that solve business problems and deliver impact
Expert knowledge of Figma and/or other design tools
