Analyze and learn business software and processes
Understand and translate business needs into system requirements
Investigate data to understand and document issues/enhancements
Work with various software development teams to drive implementation of innovative software solutions
Drive cross functional teams and challenge the status quo
Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets
Utilize verification and validation techniques to ensure software deliverables are high quality and meet customer needs
Provide IT SME support toward highly visible or critical production issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, MIS (Management Information Systems), Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
0-5 years of post graduate engineering experience
Preferred
Experience in requirements gathering and documentation
Demonstrated experience in technical problem solving
Experience with business/systems analysis
Experience in working on large team projects
Knowledge of verification and validation techniques
PLM experience
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience with Agile development concepts
Software development life cycle
Experience in writing SQL queries to interrogate intricate details of large datasets
Experience in creating and reviewing documentation, including operating procedures, training documents, and troubleshooting guides, for shop floor personnel or quality assurance inspectors
Experience transferring data between different companies
Experience working with vendors as part of the Maritime Industrial Base (MIB)
