The intern will be responsible for researching and drafting blog articles for our website and social media
The blog topics will be assigned by Ms. Hernandez Du Bois to the intern
Blog topics will include case law, statutes, sentencing guidelines, the rules of evidence and criminal procedure
The article will be reviewed by Ms. Hernandez Du Bois and edited prior to posting
The intern has the ability, and is in fact encouraged, to propose blog topics, so long as they are related to criminal law and procedure
Qualification
Required
Local candidates (Southwest Florida) will be considered at this time
Ability to research and draft blog articles for the website and social media
Willingness to shadow trials, pre-trial hearings, motion hearings, and learn about running a criminal defense law practice
Submission of a resume and cover letter
In the cover letter, answer the following: Why criminal defense? How will this internship further your career goals or ambitions? Describe your community involvement; clubs, leadership positions, greek life, etc. If you were to pen the creed of a criminal defense attorney, what would it be?
Attend an in-person interview at the office in Bonita Springs, FL
