Senior LevelH&P Executive Search is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst for a New York-based private equity platform focused on consumer and brand-led buyouts. The role involves performing financial analyses, supporting deal execution, and collaborating with senior investment professionals in a dynamic investment team.
Responsibilities
Performing in-depth financial and valuation analysis of portfolio companies and prospective investments
Building and maintaining operating models, forecasting, scenario analysis, and returns models used in live investment decisions
Leading the preparation of due diligence materials, investment memoranda, and internal presentations
Working closely with senior investors, portfolio company leadership teams, and external advisors
Monitoring and valuing portfolio investments, including performance analysis and investor-level reporting
Assisting with fundraising, marketing, and commercial initiatives
Supporting strategic projects, portfolio reviews, and internal initiatives across the platform
Collaborating in a lean, high-accountability team to support investment decision-making
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or a closely aligned transactional role - Coming from a middle-market investment bank is highly preferred. Private Debt/Credit cannot be considered
Strong technical foundation in financial modelling, valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis - Building models from scratch is a pre-requisite
Experience producing investment memoranda and diligence materials for senior stakeholders
High intellectual curiosity with the ability to think beyond the numbers and understand business fundamentals and brands
A low-ego, high-ownership mindset suited to an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment
Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
