Responsibilities
Prospect and engage with new prospects to build sales pipeline for data products and analytics and generate new commercial opportunities for State Street
Work with internal sales and relationship management teams across the Bank to identify and engage with potential clients to develop sales pipeline for State Street’s data business
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and promote new data offerings
Travel to engage with clients and represent State Street at industry conferences and other events to source new leads for the Data Intelligence business
Qualification
Required
Experience in engaging with institutional investors engaging on investment research, financial data, or analytics
Proven track record of developing new client relationships to develop a sales pipeline to meet and exceed targets
Experience navigating a large, complex organization and collaborating with colleagues across multiple business lines to achieve business goals
Comfort with developing deep product knowledge to support internal sales teams and engage with clients
Entrepreneurial mindset and a 'choose to own it' mentality
3+ years of experience representing investment research, financial data, and analytics products to sophisticated institutional investors
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field
Preferred
Prior experience with an Alternative Data or Market Data firm in a client facing role a plus
MBA a plus
