Temporary Contract Social Media Coordinator (April–August)
Launchwell Events creates thoughtful, design-forward experiences for brands and communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are seeking a Temporary Contract Social Media Coordinator to manage day-to-day social media activity and contribute to light strategy for a community-focused events initiative from April through August.
Responsibilities
Create and publish consistent social media content across platforms (primarily Instagram; Facebook and TikTok as needed)
Produce and edit short-form video content (Reels, Stories, basic TikTok-style videos)
Engage with followers through comments, messages, and light community interaction
Track and report on basic analytics (reach, engagement, follower growth)
Provide recommendations for paid social media advertising platforms and tactics when appropriate
Maintain brand consistency and follow provided content guidelines
Qualification
Required
Experience managing Instagram and Facebook accounts (TikTok a plus)
Comfortable creating and editing short-form video content on mobile
Strong writing and communication skills
Familiarity with basic social media analytics
Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
Preferred
Experience with events, arts, or community organizations is a plus
A bachelor's degree is not required; relevant experience and examples of past work are preferred
