They are seeking Seasonal Workers to assist in the Yearbook Bindery Production Team, responsible for preparing boxes of books for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
General Labor Operator: Operators assist supervisors, group leaders, and machine operators to ensure the production of high-quality books and maintain efficient workflow
Box books, ensuring equal quantities on each side
Record total book counts and deliver information to the shipping clerk
Use a hand jack to move orders within the facility
Pull or put away bundles as directed
Perform handwork tasks as required
Inspect books for quality and accuracy
Follow company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
Maintain awareness of and adhere to all safety programs, rules, and regulations at both department and plant levels
Be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
Qualification
Required
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work all hours needed including overtime
Must be able to operate pallet movers and hand jacks
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions
1 - 2 years' experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
Ability to read and interpret documents such as tracking sheets, order confirmation sheets and work orders
Proven ability to excel in a high production manufacturing environment which focuses on safety, quality control, and organization
Previous success maintaining a strong attendance and on time record
Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
Preferred
HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
Preference will be given to candidates with previous related experience
