They are seeking an Application Transformation Engineer to lead the growth of their Integrated Cloud Consulting practice, responsible for application transformation and migration, developing client relationships, and managing multiple team engagements.

Responsibilities
Confidently speaking with knowledgeable clients on the topic of application strategy, architecture, workload migration planning and common security practices such as landing zones
Acting as trusted advisor to senior technology leaders on application engineering activities
Identifying and building solutions to drive growth in project-based and managed services
Developing application strategy for clients that include value frameworks, application estate planning, modernization and migration patterns with a focus of using AI and automation to drive accelerated client value
Developing application rationalization approaches to create migration roadmaps
Designing, architecting, implementing and supporting simple to complex enterprise solutions for a variety of business use cases and requirements. Guiding and mentoring clients through the entire process
Providing principal engineering support to various teams throughout a client’s digital transformation
Understanding common application development and deployment models including platform types (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
Executing solution delivery engagements for both small and large environments
Eminence building in the industry through frequent publishing and speaking on relevant topics
Recruiting top talent through your network and eminence activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or graduate degree and 10+ years of related work experience
High proficiency with application development technologies
High proficiency with the tools and techniques for cloud native and modern application development
Experience with private, public and hybrid cloud deployments
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all organizational levels
Excellent project management, organization, and follow-up skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be a team player; able to work in virtual teams and independently
Willingness and ability to travel globally
Strong financial and business acumen, and ability to speak about technology in the language of business
Curiosity about business and technology; motivated with a desire to learn
Strong Knowledge of one of the following industries would be advantageous: Financial Services and Insurance, Consumer Products, Technology, Industrials
Strong understanding of cloud-native, modern and legacy application portfolios and experience with migration strategies
Understanding of standard application patterns and the use of containers (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, serverless and API management
Experience with migration tooling and execution methodologies (7Rs framework)
Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines, configuration management, observability and DevSecOps practices
Strong foundation with on-premises infrastructure, virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V), networking protocols, storage architectures and data center strategy and operations
Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM templates or CloudFormation
