Responsibilities

Run daily reconciliation comparing Shareworks outputs versus tax margins to ensure accurate reporting
Update Excel files for accurate values, identify, research and resolve breaks daily
Conduct daily GBUW (Global Backup Withholding) reconciliation and monthly reports
Reconcile back up withholding and non-resident alien withholding for IRS and states
Proactively communicate urgent matters to management, ensuring timely resolution of any issues
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with other basic functions essentials (VLOOKUP, CONCAT, PIVOT table, summarization, etc.)
Work closely with Tax Reporting and Deposit and Filing teams
Perform all required testing of new automation tools and system enhancements
Escalate issues and submit tech tickets promptly to ensure system functionality
Review and ensure Form 1099/1042-S forms are accurate from a withholding and reporting perspective
Contribute to the annual tax production project plan to ensure all relevant tasks are captured accurately
Update processes and procedure documents as required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to the detail
Self-motivated, responsible, and a quick learner who thrives in a team-oriented environment
Excellent task ownership skills and the ability to work independently and well in a team setting
Superior time management skills during tight deadlines
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with US withholding and reporting for employee share plans
Previous employee tax operations/conciliation or Stock Plan Operations background would be advantageous
Comfortable with technology and technical concepts in a fast-paced changing environment
An aptitude for learning quickly with a solid understanding of the Internet, e-commerce and equities
A deep belief in team success, collaboration and a willingness to adapt to continuous change
An ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently and consistently be a self-starter that excels at meeting and exceeding professional goals
