They are seeking a Civil Engineering intern who will assist with design, analysis, calculations, and specifications for various civil engineering projects within the department.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for civil engineering design and calculation tasks

Make decisions within established guidelines and provide, under supervision, engineering design and analysis in support of the production of construction contract documents

Communicate across multiple teams including structural, mechanical and electrical engineering teams to facilitate coordination of work

Qualification

Civil engineering knowledgeAutoCAD Civil 3DHydrology/hydraulicsUtility coordinationProfessional engineering organization membershipEngineer-in-Training certification

Required

General knowledge of the civil engineering curriculum, with concentration in the areas of grading, hydrology/hydraulics, detention/retention ponds, sanitary and storm sewerage, potable water and utility coordination

Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree in Civil Engineering

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

Be at least 18 years of age

Possess unrestricted work authorization

Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work

Must be fully available for the duration of the internship

Preferred

Active membership in a professional engineering organization

Engineer-in-Training certified
