Responsibilities
Design, program, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
Develop and modify Allen-Bradley PLC programs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
Configure and deploy Ignition SCADA applications (Perspective and/or Vision)
Perform system integration, testing, commissioning, and startup activities
Troubleshoot automation, controls, and communication issues in the field
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders
Support site visits, FATs, SATs, and ongoing operational support
Document control strategies, I/O lists, and system configurations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms
Studio 5000 / Logix Designer
ControlLogix / CompactLogix
Strong experience with Ignition SCADA (Perspective or Vision)
Experience commissioning and supporting systems in the field
Familiarity with industrial networking and communications (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
Ability to travel up to 50%, primarily within West Texas
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
US Citizenship or Green Card required (no sponsorship available)
Valid driver's license and ability to access industrial sites
Preferred
Energy sector experience is much preferred
Ignition Core Certification (or working toward it)
Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial process experience
Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and MCCs
Prior contract-to-hire or project-based work
