Responsibilities
Own full-cycle bookkeeping for assigned clients
Code and review transactions weekly
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations with support
Ensure books are accurate, organized, and closed on time each month
Manage multiple QuickBooks Online files concurrently
Maintain bank feeds, rules, and proper account classifications
Identify and correct errors, including prior-period issues
Request missing documentation and follow up proactively
Communicate clearly on open items and timelines
Follow firm SOPs and documentation standards consistently
Qualification
Required
4+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)
Strong understanding of accrual-basis accounting
Extensive experience with reconciliations and monthly close
Experience managing multiple clients or entities
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Strong attention to detail and deadline discipline
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Excel (filters, formulas, basic lookups)
