Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and optimize adhesive or compound formulations
Support lab-scale trials, pilot runs, and production scale-up
Partner with manufacturing to troubleshoot formulation and material issues
Conduct root-cause analysis for formulation or performance failures
Evaluate and qualify raw materials and alternate suppliers
Perform formulation-relevant testing (viscosity, rheology, adhesion, cure, etc.)
Maintain formulation documentation, reports, and change records
Communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or related field
3+ years of hands-on formulation experience in: Adhesives, Rubber or elastomer compounds, Polymers, sealants, coatings, or similar formulated products
Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments
Comfortable working onsite in a lab and plant-adjacent setting
