IT System Administrator
OnPoint Medical Group is a physician-led network of skilled Primary and Urgent care providers committed to expanding access to quality healthcare. The IT System Administrator will maintain the integrity, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure, managing servers and networks while ensuring compliance with IT policies.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and related hardware and software
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain security protocols
Perform regular backups, disaster recovery operations, and system updates
Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to support technology needs and implement new solutions
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes to maintain accurate records
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices for IT security and data protection
Travel to various sites to assist end user with troubleshooting, delivering equipment or other IT needs
Manage ticket system to answer questions for users
Hardware inventory management
Work with company and vendors effectively to assist in IT transitions and needs
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role managing Windows and/or Linux server environments
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and procedures
Active Drivers License, access to a vehicle and car insurance
Preferred
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation
Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
