Fashion Design Studio Intern
ALIX OF BOHEMIA is a luxury fashion label based in New York seeking Design Studio Interns to support their studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The role involves assisting the Product Development, Production, and Marketing Departments with various tasks related to sample management, fabric archive maintenance, and fitting preparation.

Responsibilities
Support the Design team during the product development process
Conduct research on fashion trends/competitive intelligence and report back to designers
Support with organizing Design Development and Production Development Fabric archives
Create and update seasonal bulk fabric and trims approval binder for Production
Support during Sample and Production fittings, included but not limited to, steaming, photo taking, adding images to the tech packs, assisting with fit list, etc
Support with daily shipments - including unboxing incoming samples and packing/creating labels for outgoing samples
Support with seasonal pass off of collection details from Development Department to Production Department
Support on set during lookbook, e-commerce, and on-figure photoshoots, supporting the Design and Marketing teams as needed
Support sample tracking and coordination before, during, and after shoots, ensuring all pieces are returned and logged properly
Help manage shoot-day logistics such as packing/unpacking samples, coffee runs, organizing racks, and maintaining a clean, efficient set environment
Support the creation of PR pitch decks for products and seasonal stories, including gathering imagery, product details, and narrative context for PR agencies
Studio organization, upkeep and overall tidiness
Support with Domestic Sampling for Design / Development
Qualification
Required
Coursework in Technical Design, Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Fashion Merchandising Management, or a related field
Interested in and passionate about Retail/Design
Possess high initiative and the ability to work independently
Accuracy and strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
The candidate should have knowledge of the ecommerce landscape and be familiar with competing brands in the market

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
