Regional Vice President of Operations

Caregiver is seeking an experienced Regional Vice President (RVP) to lead multi-site operations across Indiana. The RVP will be accountable for regional performance, driving results through data-informed decision-making and operational excellence across complex service environments.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Regional Directors, Program Managers, and senior leaders across multiple service lines and locations
Build a results-driven leadership culture grounded in accountability, clarity of expectations, and continuous performance improvement
Establish clear performance standards and coach leaders to consistently meet or exceed them
Drive succession planning and leadership bench strength across the region
Own regional performance metrics across financials, staffing, quality, compliance, and service delivery
Develop, monitor, and act on KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Use data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, resource allocation, and operational improvements
Translate performance data into actionable plans with measurable outcomes
Maintain full accountability for regional budgets, P&L performance, and cost controls
Improve margin performance while maintaining service quality and regulatory compliance
Partner with centralized teams to optimize staffing models, productivity, and operational efficiency
Identify operational gaps and implement scalable, sustainable solutions
Ensure compliance with Iowa HHS, Medicaid waiver requirements, and all applicable regulations
Lead regional audits, risk assessments, and corrective action planning
Implement systems and controls that proactively manage risk and ensure consistent service delivery
Maintain operational readiness amid evolving regulatory requirements
Identify and evaluate opportunities for regional growth, service expansion, and operational scaling
Partner with internal stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives tied to organizational goals
Build strong external relationships with state agencies, payers, and community partners to support operational success

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
7–10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience, ideally in IDD, HCBS, healthcare, or multi-site human services
Demonstrated success leading large, multi-layered management teams across multiple locations
Proven ability to drive data-informed decision-making, KPI development, and performance management
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight
Experience operating within Medicaid-funded or highly regulated environments
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear operational strategy
Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence, align, and hold leaders accountable
