Responsibilities
Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Prepare chemical solutions, formulations, and test samples according to established procedures
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, viscometers, ovens, and mixers
Accurately document test methods, results, and observations in lab notebooks or electronic systems
Assist with formulation trials, performance testing, and evaluation of material properties (e.g., adhesion, conductivity, curing behavior)
Support quality control activities to ensure compliance with internal specifications and quality standards
Follow all laboratory safety, environmental, and chemical handling procedures
Collaborate with R&D, quality, and production teams to investigate issues and support process improvements
Maintain laboratory organization, inventory, and chemical supplies
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent laboratory experience)
Hands-on laboratory experience in chemical testing, formulation, or materials evaluation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and proper PPE usage
Preferred
Experience working with adhesives, coatings, polymers, or specialty chemical products
Exposure to analytical techniques or equipment such as FTIR, DSC, rheology, or similar
Familiarity with quality systems (ISO or similar)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
