Responsibilities
Maintain a strong working knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs, guidance documents, and study protocols, with a solid understanding of vaccine trial requirements
Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring all clinical trials are conducted in line with protocol, regulatory approvals, SOPs, GCP, and Sponsor expectations
Manage and support Investigators, Coordinators, and site staff, ensuring appropriate training, resourcing, and performance to consistently meet high enrolment targets
Drive participant recruitment and retention, working closely with recruitment teams to optimise screening, scheduling, and subject flow for high-volume studies
Monitor site-level enrolment, timelines, data quality, and financial performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
Ensure inspection readiness and support Sponsor, CRA, and regulatory visits, including internal reviews and CAPA implementation where required
Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Recruitment, Central Services, and HR to improve site efficiency, subject experience, and overall delivery
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of site staff
Provide regular updates to leadership on study progress, risks, and operational performance, and complete other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Medicine, Science, Nursing, Behavioural Science, or a related field required
5+ years of experience in clinical research site operations
Proven experience delivering vaccine trials and/or high-enrolment studies
Experience managing multiple concurrent studies at a single site
3+ years of site-level team leadership experience
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding enrolment and timeline targets
Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and vaccine study delivery
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage high patient throughput while maintaining quality and compliance
Strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills in fast-paced environments
Proficiency with MS Office and/or Google Suite
Confident, supportive people leader with a patient-first mindset
Preferred
Master's Degree
ACRP-CP, ACRP-PM, SOCRA, or equivalent certification
