Manager Region Procurement
Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies in the United States. The Manager Region Procurement is responsible for leading a procurement team and for an assigned region, focusing on inventory management and customer KPIs.

Responsibilities
Manage and mentor employees
Daily review of critical items below minimum, allocations or stock outs for all responsible Branch's/DC's
Address and process inventory profiling requests from the Branch's/DC's
Understand and update Eclipse settings to ensure accuracy of replenishment system data i.e. (lead-time, forecasting, standard package and buy multiplies)
Explain and instruct the following purchasing practices and philosophies of: Review items for purchase; initiate changes as identified, complete understanding of all aspects of purchasing products, and Vendor metrics; negotiating, monitoring and maintaining
Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
Present and discuss corporate inventory management goals and guidelines including: Inventory goals, turns and/or days investment, and major vendor changes
Special reporting as requested
Consistent and timely communications with Branch's/DC's to keep them advised of current issues, initiatives, and pertinent topics
Consistently displays a customer service attitude toward the Branch's/DC's and develops a rapport with all Branch/DC and sales associates
Meet or exceed defined inventory metrics for assigned Branch's/DC's and/or assigned supplier lines
Assist with negotiations of supplier returns to reduce excess/dead stock
Some stock procurement/replenishment for assigned Branch's/DC's and/or assigned supplier lines
Assist Branch's/DC's with supplier review process/workflow request submission
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional purchasing/buying experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry
High School or GED - Required
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products
Strong data analytics skills and ability to work in Excel
Effective communication skills with peers and Branch/DC personnel
Ability to build relationships with the Branch/DC leadership team and act as a liaison and business partner
Conflict resolution skills and ability to work with a variety of personality types and styles
Solid mathematical skills
Attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritize and organize
Preferred
Prior supervisory experience a plus
4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
