Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile reinsurance GL accounts (ceded premium, losses, payables, recoverables)
Prepare and process reinsurance settlements and review bordereaux
Monitor treaties for compliance and accurate financial reporting
Support month‑end/quarter‑end close and prepare related journal entries
Prepare statutory reinsurance schedules, including Schedule F
Track and monitor collateral balances
Collaborate with claims, underwriting, and actuarial teams
Prepare reports for senior management, auditors, and regulators
Contribute to process improvements and reporting efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, Lookups)
Experience with accounting systems (EAS, SAP, Oracle)
Familiarity with NAIC SAP
Strong analytical and multitasking skills
