Responsibilities
Draft and file various legal motions, including dispositive motions, motions for summary judgment, motions to strike, motions in limine, and discovery and compel motions
Research and analyze legal issues and case law pertinent to ongoing litigation
Argue motions in court and represent clients during hearings
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies
Maintain updated knowledge of changes in laws and legal procedures relevant to personal injury defense
Qualification
Required
Jurisdictional law degree (JD)
Active bar license in the state of Texas
3+ years of experience in Law and motions litigation Defense- Personal injury experience is a plus
Proven experience in drafting and arguing complex motions
Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail
