Responsibilities
Analyze supply chain and transportation data to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Monitor inventory levels, shipping schedules, and warehouse operations
Track shipments and resolve delivery delays or issues
Evaluate carrier performance and freight costs
Develop and improve logistics processes and workflows
Prepare reports and forecasts on logistics performance
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and safety standards
Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors
Request and compare quotes, bids, and proposals
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
Create and manage purchase orders
Ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and budgets
Reduce costs while maintaining quality standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret data, KPIs, and performance metrics
Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and inventory management
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
Familiarity with supply chain analytics tools and dashboards
Understanding of shipping regulations and compliance
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related field
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Ability to analyze pricing, contracts, and supplier performance
Knowledge of purchasing procedures and sourcing strategies
Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
Effective communication and relationship-building abilities
Experience with procurement software and ERP systems
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
Understanding of contract law and compliance requirements
Strong understanding of supply chain processes
Analytical mindset and cost-reduction focus
Ability to work cross-functionally
Ethical standards and compliance awareness
Preferred
Master's degree (MBA or Supply Chain) is a plus but not required
Professional certifications are highly valued
