Workday-Payroll/Time Senior Analyst

Responsibilities
Manages Workday configuration for Workday Time & Payroll
Responsible for Workday Time & Payroll process enhancements as well as special projects, applying project management, analytical capabilities of a business analyst
Collaborates with Payroll subject matter experts, and any vendors on system design decisions, user experience, complex issue resolution, and process design
Ensures successful implementation of new functionality and processes within project timelines and assist with defining solutions and options for how to best support business requirements with the efficient use of Workday functionalities
Supports Development team in translating vendor specifications, reviewing integration design and output, and maintaining simple Integration configuration
Participate in thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes while maintaining accountability for configuration, unit testing, and defect management
Conduct and facilitates UAT and augmenting test scenarios to successfully test solutions and implement and monitor operational processes and provide ongoing operational support
Qualification
Required
5+ years of functional experience in Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Scheduling
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Workday Time & Payroll modules
Strong background in requirements gathering, functional configuration, data conversion, and testing
Ability to configure and support Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Scheduling modules
Experience supporting or coordinating integrations between Workday and third-party/custom systems
Ability to conduct system demos, prototypes, and configuration walkthroughs with customers
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Strong knowledge of payroll concepts, accrual rules, time entry logic, scheduling processes, and compliance requirements
Solid understanding of Workday Implementation Methodology or similar structured delivery frameworks
Experience with data conversion (mapping, validation, reconciliation)
Ability to design and execute test scripts, support UAT, and troubleshoot configuration issues
Ability to mentor junior consultants and share Workday product knowledge
