Northeast Arc is a premier provider of services devoted to strengthening the abilities of all, located in Danvers, Massachusetts. They are seeking a Coordinator for the Pathways to Opportunities mentoring program, responsible for assisting the director in organizing and operating the program for career-focused high school students.

Responsibilities

Coaches students in their life/college/career choices by supporting a respectful and non-intrusive exploration of their options and resources
Assists with executing curriculum and projects to correspond with more formal training/learning. Creates linkage between activities and training
Identifies opportunities for high school students of varying ages and abilities and matches them with the needs and supervisory capacity of the organization
Assists students with logistics for internships including transportation, dress code, and technology needs
Assists with coordinating program activities with Best Buddies, Special Olympics, Northeast Arc Recreation for social/volunteer opportunities
Maintains regulations and standards, including compliance with applicable laws, to ensure the safety, health, employment rights and respect for students and all participants

Developmental disabilitiesExperience implementing curriculumMentoring high school studentsAdvanced computer literacyBilingual

Required

Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience implementing curriculum
Experience working/mentoring high school-aged students
Advanced computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Valid Drivers license and reliable personal form of transportation

Preferred

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Bilingual is a PLUS!
