Responsibilities
Installing, racking, stacking, cabling, and decommissioning servers
Handling day-to-day data center maintenance and break-fix support
Monitoring infrastructure health and coordinating with remote teams or vendors
Working in rotational 24x7 shifts, providing on-site support to keep systems up and running
Qualification
Required
3 to 7 years of data center operations or infrastructure support experience
Comfortable working physically in a data center environment (lifting servers, cabling, etc.)
Must have 'hands and feet' experience — meaning they can touch the equipment, not just monitor remotely
Hardware: Servers (HP, Dell, Cisco), Storage, Routers, Switches, Firewalls
Tools: ServiceNow, iLO/iDRAC, Visio, MS Office
Networking: Basic understanding of fiber/copper cabling, patch panels, IP addressing
Operations: Racking, stacking, cabling, hardware replacement, decommissioning
Monitoring Tools: Experience using DC monitoring or provisioning tools
Documentation: Must document configurations and asset changes properly
