Sr. IT Project Manager - Stabilization/Post-Cutover

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead Command Center operations and drive stabilization efforts following major IT deployments, with a strong emphasis on merger and acquisition (M&A) integration programs. This role ensures a seamless transition from deployment to operational readiness by overseeing issue intake, triage, resolution, and cross‑functional communication throughout the post‑cutover period.

Responsibilities

Direct all Command Center activities during the stabilization phase of major IT deployments, ensuring rapid issue identification, prioritization, and resolution
Oversee post‑cutover readiness plans, hypercare operations, and stabilization milestones across multiple workstreams, particularly within M&A integration programs
Monitor system performance, user adoption, and operational continuity to ensure a smooth transition into steady‑state support
Manage the intake, triage, and resolution of production issues using the Command Center SharePoint tracker and enterprise ticketing tools
Coordinate with Issue Champions, Response Teams, SMEs, and integration leads to drive timely remediation and root‑cause analysis
Ensure clear ownership, escalation paths, and SLA adherence for all stabilization‑related issues
Open and facilitate workstream‑specific bridges or war rooms for complex, cross‑functional, or M&A‑related issues
Continuously refine attendee lists, escalation protocols, and communication flows to accelerate resolution
Serve as the central point of contact for business leaders, internal users, IT teams, and M&A integration stakeholders
Deliver timely updates on issue status, stabilization progress, risks, and mitigation plans
Prepare and present executive‑level reporting on post‑cutover performance and Command Center operations
Maintain and enhance Command Center processes, including ticket lifecycle governance, documentation standards, validation protocols, and stabilization playbooks
Identify opportunities to streamline post‑cutover workflows, improve cross‑team coordination, and strengthen M&A integration readiness
Lead the transition from Cutover to Command Center operations, ensuring continuity in issue tracking, ownership, and communication
Validate cutover deliverables, readiness checkpoints, and stabilization entry criteria

Required

Expertise in managing complex stabilization cycles and navigating organizational change
Experience supporting large-scale technology integrations in fast-paced M&A environments
Ability to direct all Command Center activities during the stabilization phase of major IT deployments
Experience overseeing post-cutover readiness plans, hypercare operations, and stabilization milestones across multiple workstreams
Ability to monitor system performance, user adoption, and operational continuity

Familiarity with the unique challenges of M&A environments, including system harmonization, data migration, and organizational change
