Responsibilities
Edit a wide range of RAW footage (handheld, tripod, multi-camera, interviews, b-roll) into compelling narratives
Apply strong pacing, rhythm, and storytelling to maximize viewer retention
Collaborate w/producers, creators, & stakeholders to align edits with brand voice & goals
Organize, manage, and archive project files and assets efficiently
Color correct and color grade footage for visual consistency
Perform basic audio cleanup, leveling, and syncing
Integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, titles, and callouts when needed
Optimize videos for platform-specific formats (YouTube, social, vertical, etc.)
Meet deadlines consistently in a fast-paced production environment
Apply feedback quickly and iterate with precision
Qualification
Required
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
5+ years of recent video editing experience with a portfolio
Strong long-form YouTube editing experience
After Effects proficiency, especially in motion graphics and animated text
Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience psychology
Experience with multi-camera syncing and editing
Knowledge of audio editing fundamentals (dialog clarity, music balance, noise reduction)
Basic color correction and grading skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
Portfolio demonstrating engaging, retention-focused edits
