Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript
Architect and implement backend services in Java (Spring Boot preferred) to power dynamic, secure, and scalable site functionality
Build and integrate REST APIs, user authentication, session management, and data pipelines
Optimize site performance for speed, SEO, accessibility, and cross-device compatibility
Collaborate closely with designers, blockchain engineers, and product teams to deliver high-impact user experiences
Contribute to deployment pipelines, version control, and CI/CD systems to ensure fast, stable releases
Support integration of token-gated content, user accounts, and interactive features using proprietary tools like PiXiCrypt

Required

Deep expertise in HTML5 and CSS3, including Flexbox/Grid layouts and responsive design
Strong proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and DOM manipulation (frameworks optional but welcome)
Ability to translate Figma mockups or concepts into pixel-perfect, production-ready UIs
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser support
Solid experience with Java, especially Spring Boot, Servlets, or similar frameworks
Proven ability to build, document, and consume RESTful APIs
Knowledge of authentication, session management, and secure coding practices
Familiar with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and basic ORM principles
You care about the user experience, not just the code
Ability to ship features quickly, troubleshoot independently, and adapt as things change
Comfortable working in scrappy, early-stage environments—no hand-holding required
Strong written communication and async collaboration skills
Eagerness to contribute ideas, not just execute tasks

Preferred

Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or animation libraries
Exposure to asynchronous processing, caching, or microservices architecture
Passion for anime, manga, gaming, or fan-driven digital platforms
Experience integrating with blockchain protocols, token-gated access, or Web3 stacks
Familiarity with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Firebase, or AWS
Built or contributed to multi-language/international websites
Previous experience with public-facing, high-traffic web applications
