Responsibilities
Write, test, and maintain programs in SAS, R, Python, or SQL to prepare healthcare datasets and perform data analyses
Perform various statistical analyses (e.g., descriptive statistics, regressions) under the guidance of senior staff
Develop and update tables and figures to support study deliverables
Conduct quality checks on data and code to ensure accuracy and completeness
Document programming steps and maintain well-organized records of datasets and analysis processes
Collaborate with project teams to understand programming needs and complete assigned tasks on schedule
Continue building technical skills and stay current with best practices in programming and data management
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate and/or Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or another quantitative discipline
Coursework or internship experience with statistical software (SAS, R, SQL, or Python)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with healthcare data (claims, electronic health records (EHR), or survey data) is a plus but not required
