Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex testing on clinical specimens in the microbiology laboratory, including mycology, bacteriology, and parasitology
Troubleshoot instruments and methodologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Execute all quality control procedures and assist in evaluating new equipment, reagents, and methodologies
Work in a state-of-the-art, 24-hour facility designed to maximize your skills and training

Qualification

Microbiology experienceASCP certificationClinical Laboratory Technologist licensureBachelor’s degree in Medical TechnologyTroubleshooting instrumentsQuality control procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related health science field
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department

Preferred

Microbiology experience as a Laboratory Technologist
ASCP certification
